Key elements and features:

  • The NXT: NXT is the brain of a Mindstorms robot. It’s an intelligent, computer-controlled Lego brick that lets a Mindstorms robot come alive and perform different operations. The intelligent NXT Lego brick features 32-bit microprocessor, a large matrix display, 4 input and 3 output ports, and Bluetooth and USB communication link
  • Interactive Servo Motors: The 3 Servo Motors give your robot the ability to move. If you use the Move block in the Lego MindstormsNXT software to program your motors, the two motors will automatically synchronize, so that your robot will move in a straight line. Each motor has a built-in Rotation Sensor
  • Sensors: Four sensors are included: Ultrasonic Sensor, 2 Touch Sensors and the all-new Colour Sensor
  • Colour Sensor: Has triple functionality: distinguishes colours and light settings, and functions as a lamp
  • Easy-to-use software (PC and Mac): With icon-based drag-and-drop programming and 16 fun building and programming challenges. The software enables you to program your NXT robotic invention and upload your programs to the NXT via USB or Bluetooth connectivity. Includes building and programming instructions for 4 cool models that you can build and program to do what you want
  • Includes All the Lego elements (612 pieces) you need for creating incredible robots!
  • Personalize your robots with the Sound and Icon editors

    The nxt 2.0 is the best lego robot set that is made i reckon u should get one and try it yourself it includes 3 motors 2 touch sensors 1 color sensor and 1 ultrasonic sensor i myself have used it at school and it is a great robotics education lego i recommend you buy this for a son or daughter or may be even yourself

    The NXT 2.0 is a great LEGO to build and programme. I got tired of waiting for Dad to help me programme it with me, as I am 10, so I set it up and found that once I had started the programming it was easier than I had imagined, I didn’t have to wait for Dad! I liked how the shooter bot was shooting balls at my brother and me. This is fun to try for intelligent nine year olds and up.
